Widor: Toccata
Widor: Toccata (Symphony #5, Op. 42) mm 67-73
A second idea from the late George Faxon, for the closing section of the Toccata. This avoids the crossed hands and may be less tiring. Apparently Faxon particularly had in mind how to make Widor easier for heavy tracker organs, or, as he called them, "tractor" organs. Thanks again to Lew Williams for this contribution.
